We are a Kennel Club Accredited Breeder
Over the years we have met many people looking for a gundog that are not bothered about the dog having a top trailing pedigree, in fact in some ways it has put them off having a Dargdaffin Dog.
Also we have been asked many times if we could produce the Dargdaffin Stamp in Black.
We also recognize that not everyone is looking for a dog that will be going out in the field 5 days a week and that for many they need to be a duel role family pet as well as a shooting companion, or active homes looking for a healthy and friendly pup to become part of the family
There is a wealth of good working gundogs out there that can be passed by just because they do not have the "right" pedigree
We often see Labrador puppies in the local papers and on making enquiries find that the pups are being produced from parents that have not had all (or any) health tests to significantly reduce the risk of passing on defects such as Hip dysplasia or blindness
The Mucklehart line has been started to answer these needs
