Dargdaffin Gundogs
The Dargdaffin Labrador line goes back over 30 years, and has evolved from being a hobby to now producing sought after yellow Labradors for the serious working dog handler

Our Dargdaffin Pups are normally chosen by people that primarily have a working dog in mind.  The Mucklehart line is for people looking for the field and family

Competition, picking up or rough shooting, Dargdaffin dogs take them in their stride.

Our line is the "old fashioned" enthusiastic game finding retrievers, well built, intelligent and very biddable if trained correctly from being a pup.
The Line
The dogs that stay with us work for a living.  Picking up during the season at local estates, sitting still in the duck blind or pigeon hide and being companions during the keepers rounds.

Our breeding program is focused on improving and enhancing their working ability.  We no longer breed with  trialing being at the forefront although many pups are chosen by experienced trialing handlers who have had much success with them
The breeding program
We like to see people with a gun dog that they are proud of and understand many people need some help, guidance and encouragement along the way.  Therefore we offer a number of solutions to training problems
